§ general
- an AI credit-card audit for affluent indian users. we connect to your gmail (read-only), parse your card statements, and tell you which transactions cost you the most by being on the wrong card.
- cred sells you premium cards. cheq aggregates rewards. savesage rounds up. none of them re-score your actual transactions against issuer rules to tell you which swipes were wrong. that's our entire product.
- affluent indian users with 3+ premium credit cards. typically: travelers, consultants, tech workers, startup employees. if you've ever thought "i should optimize my cards but it's too complex" — that's the audience.
- v1 covers the ~50 cards that explain 90%+ of affluent wallet share. by v2 we'll cover 200+. full list at /cards. if your card is missing, we still scan your statements — we just can't score it against issuer-specific rules until we add it.
- v1 is india-only. global expansion is on the v3 roadmap (2027+). join the waitlist and we'll mark your row.
§ how it works
- gmail is where the statements live. we read only emails from issuer domains (
hdfcbank.com,axisbank.com, etc.) — never your personal mail. read-only access. revoke any time. statement upload is also supported as a fallback. - indian issuers change card rules ~1.5 times a month. if hdfc capped smartbuy 10x at ₹15k on 01 jun, your may transactions kept their old (better) reward math. we always score against the rule that was live on that transaction date — not today's rule.
- each transaction gets scored with a confidence between 0 and 1. high confidence means the rule mapping is unambiguous. low confidence flags edge cases — like ambiguous merchant categorization — that we surface for your review.
- ~78 seconds for the median user (4 cards, 18 months of statements). longer if you have more cards or older statements.
§ pricing
- free for your first audit, forever. paid only if you opt into the live optimization layer (real-time alerts, mile expiry tracking, refinance triggers). pricing tbd, but waitlist users get grandfathered rates — see promise #02 in our trust contract.
- no. that's promise #01 of our trust contract — written into our terms.
§ data & privacy
- we store parsed transactions (encrypted at rest, india-region AWS) and your audit results. we never store credentials, passwords, or pin codes. we never share with third parties for advertising. on cancellation, all data is deleted in 30 days.
- one scope:
gmail.readonly. we then filter to messages from issuer domains only. nothing else. you can revoke at any time from your google account. - yes. india-region storage, encrypted at rest, deletion on cancellation, no third-party sharing. full notice at /privacy.
§ company
- a small team based in india. by design. our trust contract requires that a human answers every reply — small means we can keep that promise.
- self-funded for v1. we may raise once we have product-market fit and a clear paid-tier roadmap.
- we'll export your data and recommend the closest alternative. we also publish quarterly transparency reports —
verosum.com/transparencygoes live with v1.
